About the enterprise
A city’s story, carried by water.
Hossana Town Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprise has grown alongside the city — from its first municipal structure to a modern utility serving more than 22,000 customers.
Hossana is the capital of Hadiya Zone, about 230 km south of Addis Ababa and 168 km northwest of Hawassa. The city sits at roughly 2,177 metres above sea level and has grown to nearly 250,000 residents.
We work across production, distribution, customer care, sanitation, and construction to make essential services more dependable for households, schools, businesses, and institutions.

Shesher water supply project
A major expansion from the Shesher spring increased production and added 2,000 m³ and 500 m³ storage tanks.

A 172 million birr project designed to deliver an additional 50 litres per second to the city as the remaining electromechanical works are completed.
